The name iamalroberts wasn't an accident. It was a choice for consistency. in a digital world where people reinvent themselves with every new platform, I wanted a handle that could grow with me, something permanent. It keeps me honest. It reminds me that everything I create, from code to craft, is part of one consistent story.

By trade, I analyze systems. I work with the California State University system, utilizing tools like IBM Cognos and AI to gather, clean, and make sense of complex data. I love the logic of it, finding the signal in the noise.

By passion, I tell stories. Whether I’m behind a camera chasing light in a National Park or turning raw string into a crocheted piece, my goal is never just "aesthetic." I want to capture the narrative, the waiting for the sun to hit that specific bench, or the tangible process of creating something from nothing.

I believe that complacency is the enemy of a life well-lived. It is too easy to let life just "happen" to you. I choose to be intentional, with my time, my freedom, and my curiosity.
